Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to install, maintain, and support our organization’s computer systems and networks. You will be responsible for ensuring that IT operations run smoothly, resolving technical issues, and supporting staff with their technology needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure hardware and software components (e.g., computers, printers, operating systems, and applications).
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
- Respond promptly to service issues and requests (onsite).
- Set up new user accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
- Maintain inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses.
- Assist in the rollout of new applications or system upgrades.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
- Provide technical support to non-technical users.
- Document internal procedures and IT-related processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Familiarity with Windows, and common business applications.
- Hands-on experience with network components (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
