Role Overview:
The Field Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing survey teams in the field to ensure accurate and high-quality data collection in alignment with project requirements. This role involves managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring adherence to survey protocols, troubleshooting issues, and providing support and guidance to enumerators. The Field Supervisor will act as a bridge between the field staff and the project management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of enumerators and other field staff during survey operations
- Ensure field activities are executed as per project methodology and quality standards
- Conduct spot checks, back checks, and validations to ensure accuracy of data collected
- Provide on-the-ground guidance and troubleshooting support to field teams
- Monitor daily progress and report updates to the project management team
- Train and mentor field teams on survey protocols, tools, and procedures
- Ensure adherence to timelines and resolve logistical challenges in the field
- Maintain detailed records of field activities and submit daily/weekly reports
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in conducting surveys involving at least 1,000 respondents/beneficiaries/households
- Educational Qualification: Graduate
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of survey processes and data collection methodologies
- Basic IT skills and familiarity with mobile-based data collection tools
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills in Punjabi and English
- Ability to work in diverse field conditions and travel extensively
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high data quality standards
